Getting ready for surgery can be nerve racking. So many things to remember and never enough time! To make things a little easier our members have put together a list based on their experience.

Most states have a Patient Bill of Rights. It important to familiarize yourself with the laws for your state that protect you as a patient. It is wise to remember that YOU are the consumer and deserve to be treated respectfully at all times. You can receive a copy of your states Patient Bill of Rights from your local hospital or library. This is a copy of a basic Patient Bill of Rights.

We encourage you to print this page and take this list of questions with you when you visit your doctor to discuss your possible surgery. This is by no means a complete list. You should add any questions you feel the need to discuss with your doctor.
